Mr. Karni Singh Arha

Managing Director

Mr. Karni S Arha is the Managing Director of BFHL with the responsibility of managing Bandhan’s financial services businesses and also led the acquisitions of Mutual Fund and Life Insurance companies.

Mr. Arha is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience in managing Finance, Operations and Distribution in financial services. He has held leadership roles in Bharti Financial Services, Aviva India, Indiafirst Life and Reliance Capital. He started his career in US with Aetna Inc and Swiss Re in New York. Mr Arha has wide experience of interfacing with Sectoral Regulators, Global Investors and diverse Shareholders.

Mr Arha holds an MBA from Marriott School of Management in US and is an Economics Graduate from Delhi University.

Mr. Debasis Mukhopadhyay

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Debasis Mukhopadhyay is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from 9th March, 2019 taking care of Finalisation and Consolidation of accounts, Investments, Taxation and Strategic planning of the Company.Before this, he held the position of Head-Accounts of the Real Estate Division of M/s Paharpur Cooling Towers Limited where he was responsible for Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Strategic Planning and Corporate Planning functions of the Real Estate Division of the Company having projects like Genexx Exotica, Geneex Valley and the likes. Prior to that, he was working as DGM-Accounts in Unitech Ltd, heading their entire Accounts operation in Bengal, taking care of Projects like Uniworld City and Candour IT Park. Prior to that, he had started his career in M/s Shalimar Chemical Works Limited, a FMCG-Edible Company having PAN-India presence. In that Company, he was working in the capacity of Deputy Manager- Accounts and taking care of entire corporate accounts, banking, pricing, taxation and other strategic planning of the Company.Mr. Mukhopadhyay is a qualified Chartered, Cost & Management Accountant He has wide range of experience for nearly 23 years, spanning various senior roles in business finance operations involving Planning, Accounting, Taxation, IT, Investor Relations and business strategy.

CS Abhinay Kumar Shaw

Company Secretary

CS Abhinay Kumar Shaw, is a qualified Company Secretary and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He passed three years’ degree course in Bachelor of Commerce under the University of Calcutta and Post-Graduation Degree in International Business Operations from IGNOU.

He has knowledge in Secretarial, Compliance, Finance & Taxation, Commercial and other Laws too. He also has Diploma in Financial Accounting System and a Junior Associate member (“JAIIB”) of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (“IIBF”) and Association of Mutual Funds of India (“AMFI”).

He is having more than 13 years of work experience including 8 years of experience in secretarial and compliance in different sectors. He has served in S. R. Worth Limited, Fincare Small Finance Bank Limited and prior to joining Bandhan Financial Holdings Limited, he was associated with SwarnaPragati Housing Microfinance Private Limited (“SPHM”), a housing Finance Company governed under the National Housing Bank. Presently, he is responsible for carrying out all Secretarial functions along with the compliance of Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, BSE, NSE, CDSL and NSDL.
